St. Johns Tavern

The wife and I went over to tipsy Tarpon to celebrate our 30th anniversary and this is what happened they weren’t busy we sat there for approximately 15 minutes No one served us. We got approach with a menu and after that no one approached us so we went over here to St. John’s Tavern. The service was phenomenal. The wings were awesome. The drinks were perfect. I gave them a five star all around. It was just me and my wife. Thanks again for the great service. Highly highly recommend going here for service and the food. I will be back.

I had the best time! An unforgettable evening. The most funnest and coolest spot to wine n dine ya'self and your peeps! Go there or stay square,. An eat mickey D stuff.

This a fun place to stop in downtown Crystal River. They have great hamburgers and hot dogs. They have 20 beers on tap and a full liquor bar. It's a nice place to come and wind down.

Absolutely beautiful! Speak easy vibes, delicious pub fare and libations! We were relieved to find such a perfect place for our daughter’s 21st birthday on a Monday! When most places are unavailable, St Johns Tavern welcomed us with open arms. The owners were so accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond to help make our night memorable. Our server Nikki was terrific, serving food and slinging drinks for a party of 21 by herself! The drinks were amazing, food came out hot and she even found time to help with a lighter for the cake candles. Our birthday girl had a wonderful night and I can’t praise this establishment enough! Thank you St John’s tavern, we will be back!

A well-deserved 5 stars! Stopped in for a late lunch while accompanying my wife to the local shops. I am not a "tavern" person, but the menu in the doorway seemed promising. I ordered sweet iced tea and a Reuben sandwich. The tea was perfect in every way. The Reuben sandwich was the best one that I have ever eaten. My wife ordered one of the Flatbread offerings and was really pleased with it. This was on a Monday around 1:30, it was not very busy. The service was perfect, just the right amount of being there when you needed them, but not hovering. I think I might start trying taverns a little more often.

We stopped here during a camping trip and we're blown away. Atmosphere service and food were all top notch. I will stop here every time I am near. Fries have a very special and delicious seasoning.

Lively spot with great food and service. Ice cold and nice smokey old fashion! Wonderful atmosphere and live music was just beginning.

After doing a manatee swim tour with a company right across the street, this was the perfect place to grab food after a fun morning with the manatees. Food: Quite excellent. We got the pretzel appetizer, not realizing how gigantic it is. But the mistake was worth it, it's amazing. For our entrees, we both got the Flat Bread Margherita pizza. It was a subtle flavor, I wish it had just a touch more spice, but otherwise a great pizza. Atmosphere: Very cool and relaxed vibe. It's a tavern, so there's low lighting and lots of TV's. But it wasn't overly loud. Service: Very prompt and friendly service, and attentive when we needed refills. Restroom: Clean and stocked.
